Stephen Wendell serves as Chief Executive Officer of Mountain Shore Properties, a hospitality-focused real estate investment and development company with a portfolio spanning more than 25 cities across 13 states and over $500 million in project value. Under Stephen's leadership, the firm has become recognized for creating distinctive hotels and mixed-use destinations that combine thoughtful design, exceptional food and beverage, historic preservation, and long-term ownership. Mountain Shore's portfolio includes Hotel Genevieve in Louisville, Kentucky; Camptown in Leeds, New York; Rivertown Lodge and Willowbrook in Hudson, New York; and several notable projects currently in development, including Hill Hall in Fayetteville, West Virginia and the Historian Hotel in Madison, Wisconsin.

Stephen co-founded Mountain Shore Properties in 2012, helping transform the family business founded by his father, Charlie Wendell, in 1983 into a nationally recognized hospitality investment and development platform. Prior to leading the company, he served as junior legal counsel for the Philadelphia Eagles and practiced in the Capital Markets Group at Proskauer Rose LLP.

Stephen earned a bachelor's degree in Economics, with a Certificate in Finance, from Princeton University, where he graduated with honors in 2006 while lettering on the varsity baseball team. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2010.
